CURRICULUM VITAE
The children's choir was established as the second part of the Organization. Since then, it has participated in more than 150 concerts and choral meetings or festivals both in Greece and abroad. The most significant events in its course are the following:
1983 A concert in the international festival of Athens taking place in Hilton.
1984 Participation in the International Choir Festival of Athens.
1985 Participation in the International Festival of Patras in the theatrical play 'The portrait of the artist Saltibag' (world premiere) by the Swiss stage-manager HENRY RONSE. This work was additionally recorded by THANASIS NIKOPOULOS.
1989 Concerts in BRNO and PRAGUE, Czechoslovakia, in collaboration with the famous children's choir KANTILENA.
1990 Silver medal in the International Choir Festival of Athens.
1994 Silver medal in the European Youngs' Choir Festival in Neerpelt, Belgium.
1996 1st and 2nd prize won in the competition for children's choirs held by the Municipality of Patras. Collaboration with the famous choir of DOBRIC, Bulgaria, conducted by Mo ZACHARI MEDNICAROV.
1997 2nd prize in the competition for children's choirs, arranged by the Municipality of Patras.
1998 3rd prize in the International Choir Festival of Athens.
2000 Participation (Mixed and Byzantine Choir) in the presentation of the Byzantine Oratorio (composition and lyrics by the Bishop of Patras NIKODIMOS ), taking place in the ancient theatre HERODIUM (1.7.2000), arranged and conducted by the artistic director of the Organization Mo Stavros Solomos.
2001 A series of concerts both in Patras and PILSEN, Czech Republic, with the participation of the famous children's choir of Pilsen.
2003 1st prize and gold medal in the Pan-Hellenic choir festival of X.O.N. in Athens.
2004 Collaboration with the composer Dionysis Savopoulos, in Patras, on the occasion of his book's presentation.
2004 Gold Medal in the International Choir Festival of Rhodes and a Prize in the category of Folk Music.
2004 Participation in the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens.
2004 Presentation of 'kipotheatro', a work by the composer Nikos Kypourgos, in the ancient theatre of Patras.
2005 Participation in a concert on the occasion of the 1rst International Choir Meeting held by the Association of Greek Choirs/15th Panhellinic Choir Conference at the Cultural & Conference Centre of the University of Patras
2006 Participation in two parts of Patras 2006, Cultural Capital of Europe (26.09.06) 'The whole Europe as one town' and 'Children's Art' together with the MELOS BRASS orchestra group
2007 Participation in the 11th International Choir Festival of Athens: 1rst with bronze medal at the competition of classics' category.
Participation at the Childrens' Choir Meeting at Leonteios High School of N.Smyrni in Athens (8-10/11/07)
Participation in the Christmas Concert at the Conference & Cultural Center of the University of Patras together with the soloists Zacho Terzakis and Anna Morfidou (22/12/07)
2008 Participation at the International Choir Festival in Nyiregihaza-Hungary: Silver medal.
Participation in the concert celebrating the 25 years of Polyphonic Choir at the Conference & Cultural Centre of the University of Patras honoring Bishop Vartholomeos
Participation in the Christmas Concert at the Conference & Cultural Center of the University of Patras together with the with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens
2009 Participation in the Choir Festival of Filothei in Athens
Participation in the concert for social purposes in Patras and also at the performing of the Oratorio 'Saint Andrew' by Chrysoula Tsimouri.
Participation in the Christmas Concert with the Orchestra of Patras in the Conference & Cultural Centre of the University of Patras
2010 Participation in the Easter concert of the Orchestra of Patras in the 'Apollon' theater of Patras
